Project Aurora Games, LLC is a New York-based, independent game developer. Our teams have released over 20 AAA titles at top studios, including for Atari, Massive, and 2K games. We are working with world-renowned astronomers and astrophysicists to create mass market space experiences that core gaming audiences will want to play, and that the millions of space and science enthusiasts in the world will rush to pick up.
Project Aurora Games, LLC was founded with the vision that space can be stunning, bizarre, and out of this world, but it is also real. At any given time, simply look up and this world past our atmosphere will always becon and be there to inspire and challenge our understanding.
Something as mundane as a sunrise is the product of an unimaginable process of fusion at the heart of an object a million times the size of the earth. To imagine how big this is, imagine if you were the only person on the planet. Now imagine this a hundred times over, and a hundred times more, and so on. Soon you can start to get an idea of the mind-boggling size of the most familiar object in our sky: the Sun. If this is what's normal, then you can barely imagine the truly bizarre places that we can see out there right now, above our heads.
We are developing a suite of products to interactively involve our audiences with the world beyond our atmosphere. As a gaming company, we are designing with the philosophy that space itself is the greatest inspiration we could find. With compelling stories and spectacular, realistic space vistas, we are bringing space to you, and you into space as literally as we can with today's technology.
